Production Line Lead

Pay: From $22.00 per hour Job description:Job Summary Rocky Mountain Packaging is a GMP certified contract packager that's been in business over 20 years. We specialize in the packaging of dietary and nutritional supplements. Over 30% of our employees have been with us over 10 years. With recent growth, we're looking to add new Production Line Leads to our team. Responsibilities 1. Safety Follow all safety guidelines. Identify production room hazards. Escalate safety hazards. 2. Documentation Legible handwritten notes and documentation. Accurately open and close work orders. 3. Production Attending Good Manufacturing Practice training, follow and enforce all GMP guidelines. Recognize potential problems, troubleshoot, and fix them. Be 10 min early for your shift to receive or review the pass down from the previous shift. Pay close attention to detail. Assist and manage all rework in your production line. Perform signoffs on work orders. Assist with changeovers and setups. Manage and delegate a crew of up to six people. Assist with training and coaching for production line workers. Requirements Ability and willingness to follow all Safety Policies and Procedures. Adhere to Food Safety Standards. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. Attention to detail. Time management. Communicate clearly and directly. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with little supervision. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to regularly write legible notes and documentation. Ability to be professional and confidential. Be on time for your scheduled shift, breaks, and lunches. Ability to multi-task. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time. Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions. Possess a strong work ethic and teamwork.. Read, write, and speak English Physical Requirements Frequently reach, bend, Twist. Occasionally squat. Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. Occasionally push / pull up to 150 pounds. Occasionally climb ladders and step stools. Frequently use hands to grasp, twist, and handle tools, objects, boxes, and products. Regularly stand or walk for prolonged periods of time. Occasionally sit at a desk or workstation (i.e. production line, computer) for short periods.
