Fire Alarm Technician

We are actively searching for alarm technicians of all levels. Key responsibilities include technical aptitude, the ability to climb ladders, work in a lift without fear of heights, and lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates must provide basic hand tools and possess basic troubleshooting skills for ground faults, batteries, phone lines, open circuits, and short circuits. The role requires the ability to work alone or with others, read and follow blueprints/drawings, decipher the resistor color code, and understand a schematic. Basic programming skills for small system setups, the ability to read, use, and understand a multi-meter, and use a telephone butt-set and tone generator are also necessary. Candidates should have device replacement skills, the ability to disable most fire alarm panel NAC circuits, and be factory trained on any fire alarm system. NICET I or II in Fire Alarm is a plus but not required.

Requirements include being at least 18 years old, having a high school diploma or GED, being physically fit to do the work of the trade, having other than a dishonorable discharge from the military (if applicable), and passing an appropriate drug test.
