General Laborer Day Shift

Job Title

This position will work with breeder servicemen and will supervise and monitor hatchery production, egg pickup, inventory, and egg breakout at the lowest possible cost.

Duties and Responsibilities

The position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

1. Maintain accurate records and be able to direct the workforce.
2. Hire and train personnel.
3. Monitor safety rules and regulations.
4. Set schedule.
5. Observe all Bio-Security programs.
6. Oversee and monitor a safe working environment.
7. Oversee the production of healthy baby chicks for broiler grown out.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

Basic skills and qualifications include:

• Two years' experience in a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Must have knowledge of hatchery of baby chicks.
• Previous supervisory experience a must.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize and advise when unsafe conditions are observed.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Educational Requirement

Education: High School Diploma/GED; College Degree in related field preferred.
