Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Augusta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week with rotating weekends; 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio (estimated)

Highlights:

• 40-bed medical-surgical unit within a 354-bed accredited healthcare facility
• Well-supported team structure with clinical nurse coordinator, unit coordinator, and PCT support on each shift
• Documentation via Meditech electronic medical record system
• Contract staff prioritized in floating policy to like units only
• Part of a premier healthcare network featuring nationally recognized specialty centers including the largest burn center in the country
• Opportunities to perform EKGs, glucose monitoring, and venipuncture

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency with standard med-surg equipment and procedures
• Royal blue scrubs (top and bottom) required
