Pay Rate: $28.00/hr

Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other materials.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
• Assemble and fasten materials using nails, screws, dowels, and adhesives.
• Install frameworks such as doors, windows, flooring, cabinetry, and partitions.
• Inspect and assess existing structures for repair or replacement needs.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and building codes during all phases of construction and repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring minimal disruption to the surrounding environment.
  Qualifications & Requirements
• Proficiency in the use of carpentry tools, machinery, and materials.
• Must have your own tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety guidelines, and construction practices.
• Good physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools and materials safely.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills for addressing project challenges.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities for coordinating with other workers and stakeholders.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and material estimations.
• Prior experience or familiarity with woodworking and construction techniques preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings.
