Job Description Job Description The CNC Operator will primarily work on metal components, operating laser cutting machinery on a day shift schedule. This role involves independent machine setup and production monitoring as part of a small team, with a strong focus on safety compliance and weekly preventive maintenance. The position offers opportunities for advancement in machine programming, quality inspection, and team supervision. Responsibilities Set up CNC laser machines for metal component production Operate laser cutting equipment safely and efficiently Monitor production processes and troubleshoot issues Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures Perform weekly preventive maintenance on machinery Maintain accurate production and maintenance documentation Preferred Qualifications 1+ years experience in CNC laser operation Technical certificate in CNC operation or a related field Proficiency with laser cutting technology and CNC machine operation Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints Knowledge of quality control and safety procedures Strong problem solving and attention to detail Effective teamwork and time management skills
