Job Summary Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 42-bed ICU focusing on both neuro and cardiovascular interventions.
- Utilize specialized equipment such as CRRT, IABP, and ventriculostomy setups in managing complex cases.
- Float as required to all units except Behavioral and ER to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage patients with conditions like sepsis, respiratory failure, and post-operative trauma.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to ensure patient-centered care.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records using EPIC EMR systems.
- Current and active RN license in New York through NURSYS verification.
- A minimum of 2 years of intensive care unit experience, with specialized skills in CRRT and Prismaflex.
- American Heart Association certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
- Strong preference for candidates with cardiovascular surgery and cardiac care experience.
- Travel nursing experience in ICU settings is required, ideally with 4-5 years overall ICU experience.
- Proficient in using EPIC electronic medical records and completing specialty skills checklists.
