Full‑time Emergency Veterinarian – Thrive Pet Healthcare, Hoffman Estates, Illinois Join the Thrive Pet Healthcare community as a full‑time Emergency Veterinarian in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Responsibilities Provide emergency care for sick and injured patients while also managing hospitalized cases. Assess and diagnose patients, develop and oversee treatment plans, and collaborate with technicians to ensure high‑quality execution of care. Perform surgeries, deliver critical care, and maintain an exceptional standard of service in the emergency department. Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) or equivalent degree. State Veterinary Board license active and in good standing for the state of intended employment, obtained prior to start date. Active DEA license or eligibility for a DEA license. Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended. Compensation Annual salary starting at $180,000 per year, plus production opportunities and a progressive compensation model with no negative accrual.
