Position Overview
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000.00 (For Full-Time, 7 On/7 Off, and Weekend Only positions)
- Department : Telemetry Unit
- Schedule : Multiple Shifts Available:
- Full-Time Days, 3 12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Full-Time Nights, 3 12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
- Work Location : UAB St. Vincent's East - Trussville, AL

- Contribute to the assessment of patients and assure the well-being of patients.
- Administer medications and observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
- Perform laboratory tests and therapeutic services.
- Educate patients/families about disease treatment plan including self care post discharge, holistic health needs, available resources and follow up care.
- Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent required.
