GI Endoscopy Technologist - Full Time

Find your calling at Mercy! Maintains professional accountability and technical support for provision of patient care for the endoscopy patient experience. As directed, may be preparing the endoscopy field, obtain needed equipment uphold patient safety standards and assist the physician and registered nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties and may assist with special procedures as noted on the career ladder program. These duties may range from limited to overly complex. Position Details GI-Endoscopy Tech, FT Days 5 days/week - 8 hour shift, 6:30am - 3:00pm or 7:00am-3:30pm 4 days/week - 10 hour shifts, 6:30am-5:00pm or 7:00am -5:30pm Responsibilities Maintain professional accountability and technical support for patient care in endoscopy. Prepare endoscopy field, obtain needed equipment, uphold patient safety standards, and assist physician and registered nurse. Deliver direct and indirect patient care duties, and assist with special procedures as per career ladder program.
