Job Overview

We are seeking a safety-focused Forklift Operator/Material Handler to support efficient warehouse operations and distribution. You will move, store, and prepare materials while helping maintain accurate inventory and dependable shipping and receiving workflows.

Your impact: By handling and tracking materials accurately, you help warehouse teams fulfill orders safely and keep goods moving to their destinations.

Duties

• Operate forklifts, lift trucks, Hi-Los, reach trucks, clamp trucks, order pickers, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks as assigned.
• Load and unload shipments; move, stage, and store materials using safe materials-handling and manual-handling practices.
• Pick orders, scan barcodes, and update inventory in a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Support shipping and receiving, warehouse distribution, and inventory management; report discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, forklift safety protocols, and production safety standards; perform basic equipment checks and report repair needs.

Requirements

• Warehouse experience and practical knowledge of warehouse operations; warehouse management or distribution experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to operate material-handling equipment and heavy equipment safely; experience with the equipment listed above is an asset.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely, follow procedures, and work effectively with a team.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with barcode scanning, order picking, inventory processes, and a WMS.
• Warehouse supervisor experience and equipment repair skills are preferred, but not required.
