HSE Manager __ Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support production process definition to ensure optimization of cost, quality, and on-time delivery of product. Each day, you will participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation, and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products. You will also showcase your expertise by sharing cycle time data with internal teams. - Safety documentation management - Completes all required paperwork (inspections, permits, incidents, compliance records) with accurate, audit‑ready detail.
- Emergency response readiness - Acts as the primary on‑shift responder for medical events, chemical releases, fire alarms, and other emergencies; coordinates with Security, Supervisors, and external responders.
- First aid & medical support - Provides immediate first aid and maintains readiness of first‑aid supplies, AEDs, and emergency equipment.
- Shift safety oversight - Monitors 2nd‑shift operations for unsafe conditions or procedural deviations and supports supervisors in enforcing corrective actions.
- Training & onboarding support - Assists with safety training for new hires, contractors, and cross‑shift personnel; reinforces PPE use and emergency procedures.
- Facility wide support - Verifies safety controls continually working, LOTO steps utilized, and hazard mitigation during ongoing operations.
- Communication & reporting - Communicates key safety issues to leadership; escalates urgent matters and provides clear shift‑end updates.
- High School Diploma required.
- Experience in medical field or HSE background preferred (EMT‑level skill; able to provide confident first aid and support emergency response).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates honesty, accountability, and trustworthiness in all safety and documentation activities.
- Candidates must already have work authorization in the US.
