This role supports receiving, storage, and distribution activities while working closely with Inventory Control Coordinators to ensure efficient material flow and accurate inventory handling. The position is essential to maintaining organized operations and supporting production and project needs.Essential Functions:Receive, unload, and transport incoming materials to designated storage areasAssist with inspection and verification of received goodsPick, stage, and deliver materials to production, internal departments, or job sitesLoad and unload trucks, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficientlyOrganize and maintain storage areas to ensure accessibility and accuracyLabel materials and assist with proper location trackingSupport inventory activities, including cycle counts and stock organizationAssist Inventory Control Coordinators with material distribution and movementPerform rigging and material securing as required for safe transport and handlingOperate forklifts, lulls, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipmentMaintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work areasFollow established material handling and safety proceduresReport damaged materials, shortages, or discrepancies to supervisorsEnsure compliance with company policies and safety standardsPerform other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibility: NoRequired:High school diploma or equivalent preferred0–2 years of warehouse, material handling, or related experience preferredRigging experience strongly preferredExperience operating forklifts, lulls, or similar equipment preferredAbility to follow instructions and work in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic communication skillsAbility to safely lift 50+ poundsAbility to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods The work environment and physical demands required would be representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, and may include, but are not limited to the following: Work Environment:May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampnessMay work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levelsMay be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dustMay be required to work in confined spaces or from high heights Physical Demands:This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools While performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.Frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and armsMust be able to correctly identify all colors of a color-coded cable/wires and see close vision, distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focusTravel:No travel required Preferred:Prior military experience HS diploma or GED equivalentVisit us for more information!Final compensation will be determined based on applicable experience, education, licensure, skills, and other relevant factorsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer-Lead Material Handler
