Our platform is trusted by enterprises, colocation providers, and mission-critical facilities worldwide.About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Sales team. The BDR is the critical first point of contact for Modius — the face and voice that opens doors to new opportunities. In this role, you will work with prospective customers to identify sales opportunities in your assigned territory and partner with our Enterprise Account Executives (EAEs) to drive future revenue. We are proud of a culture that promotes from within — the BDR role is the launchpad for a strong and rewarding career at Modius.The LocationWe are considering candidates who can work onsite | hybrid, based out of the Portland, Oregon Metro area.ResponsibilitiesLearn the Modius sales process and develop a strong understanding of our core DCIM products and solutions to effectively engage and qualify prospective customers.Identify decision makers within targeted accounts to initiate and advance the sales process.Present and pitch Modius products and services to potential customers through a high volume of outbound phone calls and email campaigns.Follow up on leads and referrals generated through field activity, the Modius Marketing team, Channel Partners, and individual prospecting.Partner with Enterprise Account Executives (EAEs) to develop a strategic sales approach and execute on key activities including cold calling, meeting bookings, and pipeline prospecting.Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information, contacts, and activity details in Zoho CRM.QualificationsBachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, OR 1+ years of B2B sales experience or training, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.Required SkillsExceptional verbal and written communication skills.Outstanding phone skills with the ability to handle a high volume of calls per day.Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.Ability to influence, negotiate, and gain commitment at all organizational levels.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed, and entrepreneurial environment.Strong decision-making, problem-resolution, and creative thinking skills.Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement.Sense of humor — we work hard and like to have fun doing it.Compensation to include base salary as stated and commissions paid monthlyEqual Opportunity StatementModius is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
