Exciting opportunity to join our team at the Holiday Inn Redding and our new restaurant Lucenete Cucina as a Restaurant Bartender.
As a busy restaurant, we need a bartender with a positive customer service mindset who can ensure patrons have a wonderful time at the bar. Your duties will include taking customer orders, preparing a range of conventional and unique cocktails, offering beer and wine recommendations, and maintaining the cleanliness of the bar area at all times. This role requires a highly motivated individual with great organizational abilities and a customer-focused mentality. Compensation:$16.50 hourly
Responsibilities:- Purchase needed bar supplies, stock and track all wine, liquor, and beer stocks, and have a full supply of glassware on hand, notifying management of any supply issues or shortages
- Mix and deliver drinks to customers including alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
- Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations
- Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system
- Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed
- Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills
- Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers
- This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the patron first and providing exceptional customer service
- Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
- Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
Our Redding Hotel is near the Shasta Cascade Region.
The Holiday Inn Hotel and Convention Center Redding is centrally located within Shasta County businesses and attractions, offering the perfect location for corporate and leisure travelers alike. The hotel has a little over 8,000 square feet of customizable event and meeting space.
