Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgery unit position requiring 2+ years of OR experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Surgery unit assignment
• 13-week contract
• Day shift schedule from 0630-1500 with flexibility
• Call requirements based on department needs, currently 1-2 shifts per week day
• On-call every 3rd weekend, defined as Friday 1500 through Monday 0630
• Holiday coverage handled through call rotation based on department needs
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification through AHA required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience in general surgery, robotics, gynecological, orthopedic/podiatry, and organ procurement procedures required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct surgical nursing care across a variety of procedure types including robotics, gynecological, orthopedic/podiatry, and organ procurement cases
• Must reside within a defined radius for local candidacy consideration; rate may be affected based on distance
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• COVID vaccination is not required
