Unit Secretary- Lakeview Center for Mental Health and Wellness

The Unit Secretary schedules patients accurately, process incoming and outgoing mail. Complete ROI by obtaining data from discharge releases and other agencies.

• Use computer programs including order entry per policy as assigned Complete all department documentation accurately as assigned.
• Accurately identifies all information before filing, collating, or reporting data.
• Maintain charts and files in a systematic order.
• Works effectively and communicates frequently with all members of the health care team.
• Handles telephone information with courtesy, accuracy, and respect for confidentiality.
• Follows chain of command appropriately to resolve problems and concerns.
• Notifies appropriate nursing personnel of patient requests; promptly report matters requiring immediate nursing intervention.

High school diploma or GED required. Prefer 1 year office experience.

Pay Range: $16.07-$19.28

Employee salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
