Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Women & Infant Float Pool – Ohio

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Call required; weekend coverage required; float rotation between Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum units

Highlights:

• Level 4 Maternity Center offering comprehensive women's and infant care services
• Dynamic float pool environment providing experience across Labor & Delivery, Maternal Special Care, and Postpartum
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including high-risk antepartum, multiple births, and low birth weight infants
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; previous charge experience preferred
• Compact or Ohio state RN license required at time of submission
• Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Preferred Certifications: AWHONN Advanced, CEFM
• Core Skills: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum care, Antepartum management, External Fetal Monitoring, Newborn Assessment, Pitocin administration, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, breastfeeding support, IV/Central line management
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
• Availability for call and weekend coverage
• Willingness to complete urgent Ohio fingerprinting requirements
