Residential Service Technician

Description:
Bluedrop solves water quality issues for Residential and Commercial clients with the design and installation of water purification equipment. We are seeking a Residential Service Technician to join our growing service team!
Our ideal candidate is personable, service-oriented and has great communication skills. Our customers deserve prompt attention and careful follow through. If you like to help people and have a positive, enthusiastic, and fun approach to customer service; we want to talk to you. Responsibilities
- Perform operational checks and routine filter changes on all systems
- Troubleshooting various types of equipment
- Assisting in maintaining vehicle and warehouse inventory
- Completing assigned service routes in an efficient manner
- Interfacing with customers regularly during site visits and service calls
- Maintain a clean and orderly van
- Comply with company vehicle maintenance policy and procedures
- Ability to prepare accurate and complete paperwork
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Installing and testing products, equipment, and machinery and providing instructions to customers on the proper usage of their product
- Training will be provided for specific applications, equipment, water testing and other aspects of this job
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade
- Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Water filtration or plumbing experience preferred, but not required
- Pass pre-employment background check
- Valid drivers license with record in good standing
- Ability to lift up to (60) lbs.
- 3+ years of related work experience
