Housekeeper

Job Description

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Hotel Housekeepers to join our growing team in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a full-time contract to hire opportunity for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming spaces for guests. Weekend availability is needed as well.

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare approximately 16 guest rooms per day according to hotel standards

Make beds, change linens, and replenish guest room supplies

Clean bathrooms, vacuum, dust, and sanitize guest rooms and common areas

Report maintenance issues and damaged items to management

Ensure all rooms meet quality and cleanliness expectations before guest arrival

Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel procedures

Skills and Requirements

1+ year of housekeeping, janitorial, hotel cleaning, or related cleaning experience required.

Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.

Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.

Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
