The Nurturing Nook in Fox Point is a licensed childcare center seeking a Lead Teacher for our Toddler and Preschool age classrooms! To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. Level 6 or higher on the WI Registry preferred.
Required Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm Compensation: $16-$18/hr, based on education and experience We are a family-oriented, close-knit organization and we have a lot to offer our next team member including:

- Assist the lead teachers with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child's growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
