Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or in a supportive role with students preferred
• Understanding of classroom management techniques
• Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills
• Ability to follow teacher and school instructions with attention to detail
• Collaborative mindset and a willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification is a plus

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in classroom activities and instruction, adapting materials as needed for individual students
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special needs
• Help supervise students during activities, transitions, and breaks, promoting a positive, safe environment
• Support students in completing assignments, fostering independence and engagement
• Aid with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and implementation of behavior management strategies
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and trainings as requested
