IT Security Coordinator

Responsibilities Collaborate with IT leadership to enhance governance and IT infrastructure resilience across the organization, including newly acquired entities. Assist non-integrated business units in maintaining comprehensive IT security practices and controls aligned with global IT security standards. Implement and drive the performance of security-related key performance indicators to improve visibility into the organization's security posture. Provide actionable insights and support to teams to help meet security performance targets. Develop and deliver targeted education and training programs to improve end‑user security awareness and maturity. Promote the adoption of user‑friendly security tools to enhance security practices among end‑users. Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen IT governance and infrastructure resilience. Qualifications 2 to 5 years of experience in information security management, governance, auditing, or related functions. Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, PCI Compliance, and/or SOC2. Proven experience in project execution, including task prioritization and resource coordination. Proficiency in analyzing and managing security key performance indicators and metrics. Familiarity with risk management processes and methodologies. Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and work independently when required. Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and developments in cybersecurity. Ability to travel up to 5‑10% domestically. Ability to work independently and set aggressive personal goals.
