Job Description

Looking for a Commercial/Industrial HVAC service technician for our client in Hackensack, NJ

Set up new HVAC/R units, run ductwork, and install wiring and thermostats
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using multimeters, gauges, and diagnostic tools. Repair or replace defective parts
Perform routine inspections on large equipment like chillers, boilers, RTUs (Rooftop Units), split systems, VRFs, and building automation controls.
Replace defective valves, compressors, motors, and fans
Perform routine inspections—changing filters, cleaning ducts, and checking refrigerant levels.
Keep accurate logs of parts used, maintenance checks, and services performed

Experience Required

3-4 years of experience as an HVAC technician
Ability to lift 50+lbs throughout the day as needed

This is a DIRECT HIRE position!

Salary range: $25-32+/hour (depending on experience
