Job Description

Heritage Pointe Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in beautiful Doylestown, PA is currently hiring for an full time experienced RN Staff Educator/Infection Control Coordinator

Infection Control certification is preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The RN Infection Preventionist educates the staff and residents on infection Control procedures.
The Registered Staff Development Nurse functions as a Liaison between the facility and community education resources.
The Registered Staff Development Nurse works in conjunction with the DON/ADON to provide education related to quality assurance data conversion and evaluation for the QA program to educate and inform staff of facility QA needs and program to improve resident care.
The RN Staff Development Nurse analyzes and evaluates nursing care of employees during probationary period to assure the standards of nursing practice are of the highest quality and in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
