Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Licensure/Certs: BCLS, NBSTSA (required)

Experience: Minimum 2 years in OR / surgical settings

Pay Rate: $50.69/hour

What You'll Do

• Assist in all types of surgical procedures in the operating room, including trauma, neuro, ortho, trauma level I, neuro spine, craniotomy, VP shunt, thrombectomies, organ donation, GSW, thoracotomies, urology procedures (cystos, stent placements).
• Support surgeons in general, GYN, laparoscopic, ENT, plastics, and gynecological procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized equipment, including DaVinci XI robotic system.
• Maintain sterile environment and ensure instrument readiness during surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedural success.
• Comply with all hospital policies, safety standards, and call requirements (90-120 hours neuro call every 6 weeks).

What You Need Required:

• Valid CST certification with NBSTSA.
• BCLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience.
• Trauma Level I trauma experience (CORE 1: 3s and 4s in Neuro and Trauma, Level I Trauma).
• Experience in neuro, ortho trauma, total joints, neuro spine, craniotomy, VP shunt, thrombectomies, organ donation, GSWs, thoracotomies, urology procedures, laparoscopic, GYN, ENT, plastics, and oral maxillofacial surgeries.
• Ability to work day shift and onboard quickly.

Preferred:

• Experience with DaVinci XI robotic surgical system.
• Prior experience in complex trauma and specialty surgeries.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
