This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. You will report to the Hard Services Supervisor and work alongside a team consisting of Maintenance Mechanics, HVAC Techs, Plumbers, and Electricians at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.Key ResponsibilitiesRepair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber's snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and installation of water and waste lines and plumbing fixtures.Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.Complete all HSE programs and activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
