Warehouse Shipping Associate - PT Afternoon Shift

Job Summary The Shipping Associate is responsible for consolidating customer orders and preparing them for shipping by specific carrier. Key Responsibilities Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Filling customer orders according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Stacking boxes on pallets to be loaded onto trucks, ensuring pallets are stretch wrapped correctly. Using computer hardware and software to generate shipping labels for boxes. Maintaining and organizing adequate shipping supplies. Ensuring the shipping area is organized and clean at all times, and meets all compliance factors. Learning and applying appropriate labeling to certain shipments of federally regulated products. Compensation $20.00 per hour Schedule Monday through Friday, 5pm to 9pm with possible overtime. Supervision This position is frequently supervised by the Shipping / Inbound Supervisor. Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Skills Required Safety Time management Willingness to learn computerized scanning device. Physical Demands This position requires standing 80% of the day, light lifting (up to 50 lbs.) for 20% of the day, heavy lifting (frequent lifting of 50 lbs. or more) 20% of the day, and stooping for 10% of the day. #J-18808-Ljbffr
