Commitment Incentive: $30K

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and other standards established by profession/professional groups, regulating bodies/agents.
• Deliver nursing care in accordance with ECU Health and entity specific nursing policies, procedures and professional standards of care/practice.
• Provide and coordinate nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Implement interventions identified in the plan of care, evaluate the progress of the patient/family toward attainment of outcomes, and document the process.
• Promote and evaluate the effective functioning of the health care team.
• Collaborate with health care team members to meet the identified needs of the patient/family throughout the episode of care.
• Delegate tasks and activities as appropriate and governed by NC Nurse Practice Act.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher
• Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state Health Care Provider is required.
• AHA Basic Life Support is required.

Pay Range:

• Staff Nurse II hourly range: $34.00 - $46.75
• Final compensation is dependent on career ladder placement (SN I - IV)

Other Information:

• Location: ECU Health Beaufort Hospital - Central Staffing Float Pool (floats to Medical, Surgical, ICU and ED)
• Shift: Full-time nights
• Hours: 12hr Shifts (36hrs/week) with rotating weekends and holidays
• Central Staffing RNs receive an additional $5/hour after the completion of orientation
