Instructional Designer

Design and develop end-to-end learning experiences using adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies Create web-based training, eLearning modules, instructor-led training, classroom materials, structured on-the-job training programs, job aids, performance support tools, videos, and learning assessments Translate complex content into engaging, easy-to-understand learning experiences Develop measurable learning objectives and evaluation strategies supporting business outcomes Apply user-centered design principles to improve learner engagement and retention Leverage AI-enabled content development, adaptive learning, immersive learning, simulation-based learning, VR/AR, and gamification Explore and pilot innovative approaches that improve learning effectiveness Utilize learning analytics and learner feedback to continuously improve content and learning outcomes Consult with and facilitate content reviews with subject matter experts Recommend training, performance support, coaching, or workflow guidance based on learning needs Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and deadlines Build interactive eLearning using Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, Adapt, Vyond, Camtasia, or similar platforms Create videos, animations, simulations, infographics, and digital job aids Utilize generative AI tools to accelerate content development and improve learning personalization Design assessments and knowledge checks Analyze learning data and learner feedback to evaluate effectiveness Recommend enhancements based on performance data and learner experience insights Support continuous improvement across the learning portfolio Requirements Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, Education, Organizational Development, Human Performance Technology, Communications, or related field 3-5+ years of instructional design experience in a corporate, healthcare, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environment Demonstrated experience designing and developing eLearning/Web-Based Training (WBT), Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT), On-the-Job Training (OJT), learning assessments, and performance support tools Proficient with eLearning authoring and multimedia development tools Experience using instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills Portfolio demonstrating learning solutions developed and learner engagement outcomes Experience with AI-enabled learning design tools Experience with UX design Experience developing gamified learning experiences Experience creating simulations, scenario-based learning, and immersive content Knowledge of VR/AR learning technologies Experience supporting leadership, technical, scientific, operational, or compliance-related learning programs Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available for this role now or in the future This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in designing and developing engaging learning experiences using instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
