Wide Format Printer OperatorCedar City, UT | On-site | Full-time | HourlyWe're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Wide Format Printer Operator to join our manufacturing team in Cedar City, Utah.This is a hands-on production role responsible for printing and finishing graphics used in retail environments and other custom projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work, is comfortable working with production equipment, and can manage multiple jobs while meeting established deadlines.This position works closely with other Manufacturing departments to ensure printed products are completed correctly and ready for the next stage of production.What You'll DoOperate wide-format printers and related print production equipmentPrepare files and materials for printing according to job specificationsMonitor print quality, color, alignment, and overall accuracy throughout productionPerform finishing tasks such as laminating, trimming, mounting, and preparing graphics for production or installationComplete quality checks before finished products move to the next departmentFollow daily production schedules and established job prioritiesMaintain printers and production equipment through routine cleaning and preventative maintenanceIdentify and communicate equipment issues, material shortages, or production concernsTrack and maintain commonly used print materials and suppliesAccurately follow work orders, engineered drawings, reference numbers, and project specificationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaCommunicate job status and potential delays with the appropriate team membersAssist other Manufacturing departments as neededWhat We're Looking ForPrevious wide-format printing, sign production, or related manufacturing experience preferredExperience operating large-format printers and finishing equipment is a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workAbility to read and follow work orders, measurements, and production specificationsComfortable working with computers and print production softwareAbility to organize and prioritize multiple jobsBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment maintenance and troubleshootingStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently while also contributing to a team environmentDependable attendance and ability to meet production deadlinesPhysical RequirementsThis position is active and requires regular movement throughout the production area.
