License: Must be licensed in the state of Georgia

Certifications: BLS, NBCOT, Lymphedema Certification

Must-Have: Certification in lymphedema

Description: Work with other therapy professionals on a regular basis. Collaborate along with wound care providers. Interface with compression fitters and lymphedema vendors to support patients. Expected to work with a range of patients, including young adults, middle-aged adults, and geriatrics. Diverse mix of diagnoses including patients requiring lymphedema care. This position involves hospital-based outpatient care for a lymphedema patient population. The daily patient census is approximately 5-7 patients. Work requires a variety of assessments and interventions. Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team is essential. Focus on providing safety and injury prevention education to patients. Be prepared to assist with discharge planning and reassessments. Maintain compliance with all operational and clinical guidelines. Availability for holiday work may be required during assigned periods. Must adhere to all documentation and charting requirements. Engagement in professional development and continuing education is encouraged.
