Diagnostic Radiology Technologist - Part Time

Job Summary Responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating equipment, and maintaining related records. Responsibilities Perform standardized radiological radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations using proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques. Operate and adjust all equipment within the modality, including immobilization and radiation protective devices. Review and analyze patient body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology to guide examinations. Assist physicians with various procedures. Report equipment malfunctions and necessary adjustments or repairs. Maintain related records and notations. Assist in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as required. Participate in educational training of students. Work is typically performed in a clinical environment and is subject to all organization policies and procedures. Qualifications Education: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology is required. Certification and Licensure Basic Life Support Certification – Default Issuing Body Certified Radiology Technologist – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Skills Communication Organizing Preceptor Radiology technical knowledge Experience Prior experience in radiological imaging is preferred.
