Buyer

Run daily MRP reports and purchase materials in support of production schedule for all purchasing parts other than Outside Processing and Supporting Components per procedure. Manage your suppliers to assure on time delivery and consistent quality. Negotiate with your suppliers to ensure optimal pricing. Negotiate Terms with your suppliers. Source and certify new suppliers with the assistance of the Procurement Agent. Resolve issues related to inventory returns, and replacements. Negotiate best vendor terms, pricing and delivery based on specific budget and schedule requirements. Work with accounting to correctly use accurate general ledger accounts for non-inventory purchases. Other duties as required. WORKING HOURS Normal Work Week: From: Monday To: Friday Qualifications and Education Requirements: General knowledge of purchasing policies, processes, and procedures. High School Diploma Preferred Skills Excellent communication and negotiating skills Excellent math skills Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Outlook, Excel, Goggle Drive, and Goggle Sheets) Attention to detail Desire to grow, take on new responsibilities, and establish yourself on our team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
