Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 17:00–05:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3
• Document patient care and clinical information using Epic electronic health records
• Float between like units within the facility or to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Participate in required orientation (approximately 36 hours) and complete non-billable compliance modules pre-start and annually
• Be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery and postpartum experience required
• Valid California RN license in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, and NRP
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must be willing to float between units and/or sister facilities; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Must submit requested time off (RTO) at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Advanced certification preferred
• 4x12 shift schedule available upon request
