Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse Location Smyrna, TN Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday with variable days. Requires 8 days of weekday call and up to 6 days of weekend call per month. Job Description We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative team environment to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures. Experience in a community hospital or mixed IR & Cath lab setting is preferred. Responsibilities Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including left and right heart catheterizations and PCIs. Monitor patients during procedures, providing sedation and circulatory support. Utilize advanced equipment including GE x-ray machines and Alaris pumps. Document patient care and procedures using Merge Hemo and Meditech systems. Participate in 8 days of weekday call and up to 6 days of weekend call per month. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath lab, including both diagnostic and PCI procedures. Current RN licensure and certification as an ARRT or RCIS. Experience with monitor management and catheter-related procedures. Ability to scrub, circulate, and manage sedation during procedures (RN). Advanced skills in interventional radiology, vascular procedures, and the use of Impella and IABP devices.
