Registered Nurse - Step-Down Unit

Schedule

This is a 12-hour night shift position from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in a Step-Down Unit, providing care for adult and geriatric patients. The RN will ensure high-quality patient care while adhering to established practices and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide education and support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of step-down/telemetry nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Active RN license in good standing
