Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers. Serve as an empathetic problem solver for customers by utilizing in‑depth training to recommend the best innovative overall pest solution for each customer’s needs. Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads. Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain how Orkin’s products and services give them peace of mind. Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home. Make recommendations to customers based on inspection and issues identified, addressing any questions and setting expectations. No experience required. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid). Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients. What will my work environment be like? Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity. Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including the ability to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which sometimes requires an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Willing to work in different types of weather conditions.
