Registered Nurse (RN)The RN partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct and indirect nursing care to residents in various units, including specialized Alzheimer's/dementia care and transitional rehabilitation.Utilize verbal and non-verbal communication techniques tailored to the needs of residents, particularly in managing challenging behaviors.Deliver skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to patients recovering from short-term illnesses or injuries.Administer IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management as required.Collaborate with team members and other care providers to ensure comprehensive and effective resident care.ScheduleThis position is a day shift role from 7 AM to 7 PM, requiring flexibility to cover 24/7 needs and float to other units as needed.LocationPosition requires residency outside a 50-mile radius.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureAssociate's degree in Nursing.Active State of Maine or compact RN license.1-3 years of previous nursing experience preferred.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Medical terminology knowledge is preferred.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
