Production Supervisor

Every window that leaves the floor has to meet a higher standard than “good enough.” As Production Supervisor, you will turn that standard into daily output: safe crews, stable processes, and products that hold energy performance, fit, and finish. This role sits where quality, throughput, and people meet—and where a strong shift can protect both the customer and the plant.

• Run the assigned shift so scheduled units ship on time, with first-pass yield and scrap held to agreed targets.
• Staff, train, and coach production teams so attendance, skill coverage, and output stay stable without overtime becoming the plan.
• Hold safety as a production result: close hazards the same shift, keep incident rates down, and make standard work the normal way to run.
• Catch quality escapes at the line—dimensions, glass, hardware, and finish—and drive root-cause fixes with maintenance and quality before they repeat.
• Balance labor, materials, and machine time so changeovers, glass, and assembly stay in sync and downtime is explained, not accepted.
• Give clear shift handoffs and daily performance facts so the next crew and plant leadership can act without a meeting to decode the floor.

You will lead hourly production teams on an integrated window and door line—from fabrication and glass through assembly and pack-out—inside a multi-plant manufacturing operation. You will work with maintenance, quality, scheduling, and materials, and report to plant or production leadership. Tools include production schedules, quality and safety systems, and standard work; you will have authority to stop unsafe or out-of-spec work and to reassign labor within the shift plan.

• Proven supervision of a manufacturing shift, including staffing, coaching, and holding people to output and quality goals.
• Hands-on experience in fabrication, assembly, or glass-related production, with the ability to read a schedule and a process and see what is off.
• A record of improving safety, scrap, or on-time completion—not just reporting the numbers.
• Clear communication with operators, leads, and other departments, including written shift reports that drive action.
• Comfort with basic production metrics, problem-solving, and fair, consistent accountability.

• Work in a vertically integrated plant where extrusion, fabrication, glass, and assembly sit close enough that your decisions show up in the finished unit.
• Join a scaled manufacturer with room to grow skills across plants, products, and leadership—not a single-line shop with a fixed ceiling.
• Shape how quality and green manufacturing actually run on the floor, backed by in-house engineering and test capability.
