Job Description
We are seeking a Dispatcher for Trucks to coordinate freight operations, optimize routes, support drivers, and help ensure shipments are delivered safely and on schedule. This role serves as a key point of contact among drivers, customers, and internal teams while maintaining accurate documentation and resolving issues throughout the delivery process.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate loads and assign dispatch schedules.
- Plan efficient routes based on shipment requirements.
- Communicate schedules, instructions, and updates to drivers.
- Track shipments and monitor delivery progress.
- Provide customers with timely delivery updates.
- Maintain accurate dispatch and shipment documentation.
- Resolve delivery, routing, and scheduling issues.
- Perform compliance checks throughout dispatch operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in truck dispatching.
