Position: Bilingual Portuguese Government / Public Policy Expert

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $20–$35/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Translate, adapt, and structure complex government and public policy frameworks into clear rubrics for AI training.
Create accurate, culturally nuanced policy content reflecting real-world public policy usage in Brazil.
Write fluently in Brazilian Portuguese and English with precise policy and governance terminology.
Provide domain-specific insights into Brazilian public policy, political institutions, and governance practices.
Collaborate asynchronously with reviewers and research teams to refine and validate outputs.

Requirements

Native-level fluency in Brazilian Portuguese with strong written and spoken English.
Degree in public policy, political science, sociology, or a closely related field.
Strong experience in government, public policy, politics, think tanks, or related organizations.
Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
Experience in policy writing, instructional design, or academic publishing is a plus.
Comfortable working independently in a remote, project-based environment.
