Quantum Platform Integration Senior Staff Engineer

SkyWater Technology is searching for a Quantum Platform Integration Senior Staff Engineer for our Bloomington, MN site to drive process integration activities on Superconducting Josephson Junction based technologies.Responsibilities:Working with external and internal groups on the development of Superconducting processes at SkyWater you will:Advise on process module development, process margin improvement, and process controlCoordinate activities with process & tool engineers to develop process enhancement for Superconducting device features.Lead Structured Problem Solving meetings to resolve technology issuesDefine and implement process experiments for development and module characterization.Analyze and report results of process module experiments to the team through program review meetingsInterpret results from physical failure analysis and electrical test data.Actively drive the qualification milestones for new Superconducting offerings.Interface with Customers on technical requests and challenges.Required Qualifications:Education: Bachelors & Masters in an Engineering discipline, or PhD in in Electrical, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or other relevant discipline.5-10 years of experience (Bachelors & Masters) or 2-3 years (PhD)Demonstrated knowledge of semiconductor process/fabricationDemonstrated experience of process module development, process margin improvement, and process controlWork effectively as a team member with people from other groupsAbility to extract, organize and analyze data (both electrical and physical)Working Knowledge with statistical analysis tools, DOEs, and SPCAble to communicate technical data and results to program leaders and managersSelf-motivated with a drive to solve problemsPreferred Qualifications:Extensive experience with Superconducting Materials and Josephson JunctionsEducation: PhD in an Engineering discipline.JobFamilyEngineeringJobFunctionDevelopment EngineeringPayTypeSalary
