We are looking for a Cabling Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you aren’t just running a machine; you are the craftsman responsible for the structural integrity of the cables that power our world. If you value precision, safety, and high-quality work, we want to hear from you.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Assemble: Twist and cable primary conductors together using specialized industrial equipment.Verify: Act as your own "Quality Inspector" by measuring diameters and gauges with calipers.Document: Keep perfect records of your work to ensure every reel meets our high standards.Lead: Maintain your workspace and ensure products are wrapped and ready for the next stage of production.Safety: Follow proper safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout and the use of PPE.Required Qualifications:Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex work instructions and job travelers.Mathematical Aptitude: Proficiency in using precision measuring tools like calipers and cutters.Communication: Strong oral communication skills with a focus on active listening and seeking clarification.Professionalism: A consistent track record of punctuality, accountability, and meeting productivity standards.Adaptability: The ability to multi-task and pivot between different product setups as production needs change.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.
