Position: Full-Time, Live-Out Housekeeper / Household Manager
Schedule: Monday–Friday; family will guarantee 30 hours per week. Exact hours can be determined with the candidate, as the family is flexible regarding how the hours are distributed throughout the week.
Salary: $40–$45/hour, commensurate with experience; negotiable for the right candidate
Start Date: Mid-September; flexible for the right fit
Relocation: No – local candidates to Boca Raton only

About the Family

A warm, welcoming, and respectful international family relocating to Boca Raton is seeking an experienced, meticulous, and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Household Manager to take primary responsibility for the care, cleanliness, organization, and smooth day-to-day functioning of their home. The family values professionalism, discretion, reliability, teamwork, and a positive, collaborative household environment.

Children: Two boys, ages 4 and 8
Additional Household Members: Grandmother resides in the home and is actively involved with the children
Household Staff: Part-time Governess / Educator

This is a supportive household with hands-on parents and grandmother. The family already has a dedicated educator who is primarily responsible for the children's education, tutoring, school coordination, and activities. This is first and foremost a housekeeping and household management position, not a nanny position. The primary focus will be maintaining the home, with only occasional assistance with the children when needed.

The role is approximately 80–90% housekeeping and household responsibilities and 10–20% occasional assistance with the children. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the home and ensure it remains exceptionally clean, organized, well-stocked, and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Household Management – Approximately 80–90%

• Perform meticulous daily and deep cleaning throughout the home, maintaining a consistently pristine environment
• Care for high-end materials and fine finishes, including marble, wood, porcelain, and hardwood floors
• Maintain organization throughout the residence, ensuring rooms, closets, living spaces, and other areas remain neat, orderly, and well-maintained
• Handle all household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, steaming, and proper garment care
• Make beds and change linens regularly, maintaining bedrooms to a high standard
• Thoroughly clean and maintain bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas
• Monitor household supplies and maintain appropriate inventory of cleaning products, toiletries, paper goods, and other household necessities
• Assist with household organization projects, including closets, storage areas, and general decluttering and upkeep
• Run occasional household errands, such as grocery shopping and purchasing household supplies
• Proactively identify household needs and take initiative to address them without requiring constant direction
• Help ensure the home remains clean, organized, comfortable, and functioning smoothly on a daily basis

Occasional Childcare Support – Approximately 10–20%

Childcare is strictly secondary to the housekeeping and household management responsibilities and will not be the primary focus of the position

• Provide occasional school drop-off or pick-up assistance when requested by the family
• Step in to assist with the children only when parents or grandmother need additional support
• Provide brief, age-appropriate supervision or engagement when needed
• Offer occasional support during transitions or other situations when an extra set of hands is helpful
• Work cooperatively with the parents, grandmother, and existing governess when occasional childcare assistance is needed
• Maintain a warm, safe, and appropriate presence around the children

Requirements

• Extensive experience working as a professional housekeeper and household manager in high-end private homes
• Proven expertise in caring for fine materials and luxury finishes, including marble, wood, porcelain, and hardwood
• Exceptional attention to detail and consistently high standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation
• Strong experience with laundry, ironing, garment care, linen changes, and household organization
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks independently
• Comfortable working around children and willing to provide occasional, secondary support when needed
• Excellent, verifiable references
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Warm, friendly, patient, discreet, and team-oriented personality
• Proactive, flexible, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
