Description Cashier duties and responsibilities Process sales transactions Calculate the cost of products or services Accept payments Calculate and return change when required by the payment method Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change Answer customer questions about products or services Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts Report issues with equipment Work as a team to meet sales goals Handle customer complains Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements and product information Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones Preparing and serving food items such as soups, sandwiches and pastries Answering customers' questions about menu choices Promoting and recommending menu options to customers Taking payment from customers Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu Must provide current food handlers certificate Isla Grand Beach Resort
