Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
The Maintenance Electrician maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs production equipment in a highvolume foodprocessing environment. This role combines strong mechanical aptitude with solid electrical knowledge and experience working with automated systems to keep equipment operating safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
Duties

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot 480V electrical systems in a food processing environment.
• Wire, repair, and install motors, pumps, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, motor controls, VFDs, relays, and sensors.
• Diagnose electrical and control system failures to minimize production downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial food processing equipment.
• Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and food manufacturing regulations.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bakersfield, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
