This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced healthcare professionals while utilizing advanced imaging technology to support accurate diagnoses and exceptional patient outcomes .As a Radiologic Technologist, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring the highest quality imaging with the lowest possible radiation exposure for patients and staff. Responsibiliti esDiagnostic Imagi ngPerform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for diagnostic imagin g.Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfor t.Accurately position patients and imaging equipment to demonstrate the anatomy being examine d.Utilize advanced anatomical knowledge and technical expertise to obtain optimal imaging result s.Adjust exposure factors and imaging techniques based on patient condition, anatomy, and physician order s.Patient Care & Safe tyProvide appropriate radiation protection for patients, physicians, and staff according to established safety standard s.Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and address concerns with professionalism and compassio n.Administer radiologic contrast media and medications as require d.Recognize and respond appropriately to allergic reactions or adverse events related to contrast administratio n.Practice sterile technique and assist physicians during sterile procedures when neede d.Clinical & Department Suppo rtPerform portable and surgical radiographic procedures as assigne d.Utilize Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and imaging software to manage patient exams and documentatio n.Initiate requisitions, acknowledge exams, and modify charges within electronic system s.Identify and report equipment malfunctions promptl y.Participate in departmental meetings, continuing education, and professional development opportunitie s. Qualificati onsRequi redAssociate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related fie ld.ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hir e).Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hir e).Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, radiation safety, and imaging techniqu es.Excellent communication and interpersonal skil ls.Prefer redOne (1) year of clinical radiology experien ce.Experience with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Hospital Information Systems (HI S).Previous experience performing fluoroscopic, portable, and surgical imaging procedur es.Physical Requireme ntsAbility to stand, walk, and move throughout the workd ay.Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and positioning of patients and equipme nt.Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 20 poun ds.Ability to perform repetitive movements involving reaching, grasping, and handling equipme nt.Comfortable working in a healthcare environment with potential exposure to infectious materials and emergency situatio ns.
