Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend day shift assignment requiring ARRT/CT licensure and BLS certification.
Details
- Clinic setting performing CT scans for diagnostic purposes
- Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Performs CT scans with and without contrast following established guidelines
- Cares for patients across all age groups including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
Requirements
- ARRT/CT license required (license required if applicable)
- ARRT R certification preferred
- Current BLS via AHA required
- Fit test required
Additional Information
- Responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care during CT procedures and assisting with patient discharge
- Orders and maintains neat, organized stock of supplies
- Demonstrates knowledge of safety measures, psychosocial and physical growth/development concepts, medication administration, and pain management appropriate to patient age
- Prior permanent employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel position
- Requested time off must not exceed 7 days
- Local candidates considered within a 60-mile radius
