Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced Program Management Contractor to lead cross-functional development activities for an innovative in vivo gene editing program from pre-IND through early clinical development and beyond. This role will be responsible for building and managing integrated program plans, timelines, budgets, and critical paths while ensuring alignment across Clinical, Regulatory, Nonclinical, CMC, and Data Management teams. The individual will facilitate program team meetings, drive milestone execution, identify and mitigate risks, and provide regular updates to leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead execution of cross-functional program plans from pre-IND through Phase I/II development Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, budgets, and critical path analyses Coordinate activities across Clinical, Regulatory, Nonclinical, CMC, and Data Management functions Track progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies Drive cross-functional alignment and support governance and leadership reviews Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred 6–8 years of biotech/pharma experience, including 2–4 years in program management supporting early clinical development Proven success leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment Strong knowledge of preclinical development, IND-enabling activities, and clinical trial operation Experience with gene therapy or gene editing programs highly preferred Proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, and OnePage Ideal Candidate Strong communicator and relationship builder Highly organized with excellent planning and execution skills Collaborative leader who can drive alignment across diverse teams Adaptable and effective in a fast-paced biotech environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Clinovo
